"God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us"
{Romans ch 5 v 8}

We've all done things we regret. Said things we wish we could take back
If only "I'd made a better choice", if only "I hadn't retaliated", if only "I hadn't sent that text".
God's only Son Jesus Christ chose to die on the cross in our place - He had no sin; He'd never done anything wrong.
Jesus was God Himself come to earth as a baby. So, as God, He was totally without sin!
"Bilmey! I didn't know that".
Although He was sinless, He chose to take the punishment
that we deserve for all the wrong things we've done in our
lives. Our bad choices, our dishonest decisions, our wrong deeds and thoughts.
Yayyyy Jesus is Alive!
He's not dead!
When he died and rose again, He made the way totally so that we can choose to believe in His death and His resurrection and receive His forgiveness.
Jesus was nailed to the cross and died on Friday and on Easter Sunday He came back to life!
There were soldiers guarding His grave
It was a sort of cave with a big stone rolled in front of it.

The earth shook and the big stone rolled away and there was an Angel sitting on the stone - The Angel said "He's not here He has risen!"
{Matthew 28 v's 1 - 7}
"I'd have love to have been there to see that!"
As we get older, we realise there are consequences to the everyday things we do. It was bad enough if we did something wrong when we were children - "that's it - no sweets for a week!" Unfortunately, as we grow up the results of what we do get more serious.
The good news is because Jesus died and rose again we can talk to God, He's alive.
We can thank Him for taking our punishment - and receive His forgiveness.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only... Son, that whoever believes in Him will have everlasting life".
(John ch 3 v 16)
God promises us that belief in Him starts us on the way to receiving everlasting life, so the moment we ask for forgiveness and turn away from our sin, we can receive a new fresh start from Jesus, we have the very beginning of our new life., of our new everlasting life
"Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away: behold, all things are become new"
{ 2 Corinthians ch 5 c 17 }
We can receive His forgiveness and a new fresh start today. Jesus is alive - we can talk to Him.
