God Really Loves YOU

I know you've learned about
Jesus in School.

Do you remember what you've learned?

 

Christmas - Jesus Was Born

We give presents, don't we?
This helps us remember the Wise Men bringing gifts to the Lord Jesus.

Good Friday Jesus Died on a Cross

 

This was very sad for all Jesus' friends. But good news for us. Jesus was taking all the punishment that we really deserve from when we've been naughty.

 

If we've done something wrong mum and dad say "TV off for an hour!" "No Xbox!" or worse still "No sweets for a week!". Oh my gosh!

Because God loves us SOOOOO MUCH! He let His only Son Jesus take all our punishment on the cross. He wanted to be able to forgive us all.

Easter Sunday

Jesus, because He was God's
Son, came back to life!

 

Yayyyyy!

Jesus is Alive!

 

It's Easter egg time! We all enjoy Easter eggs.
When you have a real egg on the farm it has a new little baby chick inside.

Giving eggs help us to think about the new life that Jesus can give us.

"God loves us so much that He let Jesus die for us so that we can live for ever."
(Based on John 3:16)

Because Jesus is Alive, we can
Talk to Him

We call talking to Jesus "saying our prayers".
I expect you've said lots of prayers in school.

>   Thank you for my food

>   Thank you for mum and dad

>   Thank you for loving me

We usually pray "in the name of Jesus"

 

Because Jesus is Alive, we can Talk to Him any Time we like

Would you like to ask Jesus to forgive the naughty things you've done and ask Him into your life now?

Let's say this little prayer to Jesus: -

~ Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me

~ Thank you for taking my punishement when you died on the cross

~ I'm sorry for all the naughty things I've ever done

~ Please forgive me and help me to be good and kind

~ I'm opening the door of my heart, please come in and be my best friend for ever

~ In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Now you're Part of God's Special Family

<   The Bible says you are now God's special child.

<   God says He will never leave you.

<   Jesus will give you His peace, happiness and love in your heart.

<   Tell mum and dad or a friend that you've asked Jesus to be your best friend.

<   Ask mum and dad if you could go to to Sunday School or Youth/Kids Club
